AirPlan4 - Usage
The AirPlan4 system is a very flexible solution and as such is currently in use in a wide range of uses and organisations.
Airlines
AirPlan4 is currently widely used in the following types of airline:
- Scheduled and Charter Airlines
- Low Cost Airlines
- Passenger and Cargo Airlines
- Domestic, Regional and Long haul Airlines
- Pure and Mixed Fleet environments
- Fleet sizes from 2 - 400 aircraft
International Trip Planning
AirPlan4 is regarded as the flight planning system of choice for many FBO and handling businesses providing International Trip Planning (ITP) services to their clients, using both the On-site and Bureau systems.
We offer the Bureauusers a veryflexible pricing policy that , which allows these customers to change the model they use, as their company grows.
With significant input from our sister company, BaseOps International (Houston, Texas), the AirPlan4 system builds upon its airline heritage to support corporate aircraft.
Training Schools
Due to its intuitive interface and ease of use, AirPlan4 is installed at some aviation training schools.
We are more than happy to advise on how the AirPlan4 system can significantly improve the training of people in the use of flight planning software and help them to understand where such systems fit into the bigger picture of an airline's operations department.
We offer special pricing models to customers who use our systems in a training environment - to reflect the fact that this type of usage is significantly different from airlines planning real commercial flights.
Other
Whilst AirPlan4 is a very flexible solution which can be applied to the vast majority of operational requirements there are some situations where we would not normally recommend the use of AirPlan4 , without some modification.
- For larger airlines operating over 500 aircraft (a more bespoke set-up configuration than standard is required)
- Within environments requiring more than 250 users
- Currently only limited functionality where web browser based connectivity is mandatory (but we are expanding this functionality)
